Spa Etiquette

To make a reservation or to purchase products / gift certificates, please call Eden Day Spa at (909) 593-6899.  We recommend booking spa reservations one week in advance and will do everything possible to accommodate your request.  Appointments are booked based on availability.  Please notify the receptionist when booking an appointment if you have any special needs or prefer a male or female therapist.  To reserve any service, Eden requires a credit card or gift certificate number to guarantee the appointment.  Your card will not be charged unless there is a failure to adhere to the cancellation policy.  For your convenience, we recommend scheduling future appointments before you leave the spa.

At Eden, we have reserved an appointment especially for you.  We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in regards to our cancellation policy.  No-shows and appointment cancellations less than 24 hours will be charged the full value of the service reserved, and/or any gift certificate associated with the service will be considered redeemed.  Emergencies and illness will be evaluated by Eden management on a case by case basis.

Reminder Phone Calls
Clients will receive a courtesy reminder phone call the day prior to their scheduled appointment at the phone number provided during the reservation.  If the client does not receive a courtesy call, he/she remains accountable for the appointment and adherence to the cancellation policy.

Eden accepts VISA, MasterCard, Discover, debit card, money order and Eden gift certificates with a valid picture I.D.  Eden gift certificates are redeemable at the store front location in La Verne, California.  Gift certificates are transferable.  If a gift certificate is purchased for a special or a promotion, the dollar amount does not expire, but the “promotion” expires one year from the date of purchase.  Gift certificates are nonrefundable and must be presented at the time of service. 

Membership Billing
All membership fees will be automatically billed monthly to a designated credit card.  If there are any changes to the card on file, please allow 30 days for the changes to occur.

Membership Policy
A member at Eden Day Spa is required to complete a one year contract.  If a membership is canceled prior to one year, there will be an early termination fee of $99.  After the fulfillment of the one year contract, billing will be month to month.  Members may cancel at any time after the initial one year contract with written notification 30 days prior to the next billing cycle.

Although a membership service may be rolled over from one month to the next, we advise you speak with an Eden representative to place a hold on your account if you are experiencing medical or unforeseen circumstances.

The service price does not include gratuity.  If your experience was enjoyable, it is customary to tip your therapist or esthetician.  Gratuity envelopes are available at the front desk.  If you did not enjoy your service, please speak with an Eden manager.

Hours & Holidays
Eden reserves the right to change their operating hours without prior notice at any time.  Extended hours are available by appointment.  Eden is closed for the following holidays:  Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years and July 4th.

Cell Phones and Electronic Devices
Please be considerate of other guests and switch your cell phone to silent or vibrate.  Cell phones and electronic devices are not permitted in the common areas.

Arrival Time
We encourage our guests to arrive 15 minutes prior to any appointment to allow time to change and relax.  All services will end on time so as not to delay the next guest.  For your first visit, please arrive 20-25 minutes (25 minutes for multiple new services) prior to your appointment to become orientated to the spa and fill out the required forms. 

Late Arrivals
If you arrive late for your appointment, we will accommodate you with an abbreviated service.  You are still responsible for the full service fee. 

Please do not bring any valuables or jewelry to the spa.  Eden is not responsible for any lost or stolen property.

Eden Day Spa reserves the right to change their prices without prior notice at any time.

Purchasing Policy
Unopened product purchases may be returned with a receipt within seven days of purchase. 

Age Requirement
Massages, body treatments, facials and waxing are available to guests 18 years and older.  Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and have signed the consent form.  In addition, payment for services of a minor must be paid by a parent or legal guardian.

Health Considerations
Please inform the receptionist when booking your appointment if you have any special needs or health considerations.  If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, have high blood pressure, physical ailments or disabilities, please discuss your condition with an Eden therapist or certified Wellness Mentor prior to treatment.  Services and products may not be recommended for clients with these conditions.  Please notify the therapist if you have any discomfort during your treatment.  The spa is wheelchair accessible

Pregnant and/or nursing health considerations:
Pregnant and nursing mothers should not detoxify with any of our programs, services or products. 

Detox, wellness  and supplement programs:
It is recommended that clients consult with their physician before beginning any detox, wellness, or supplement programs.  An Eden Wellness Mentor will work with you to accommodate any restrictions or requests.

Other Information:
Smoking & alcohol consumption on the spa premises is strictly prohibited. The Eden staff reserves the right to terminate a treatment if the client’s behavior is deemed inappropriate.
